Gabby Barrett (born on March 5, 2000, in Munhall, Pennsylvania) is a country
music singer who rose to fame after finishing up in third place on the 16th
season of ABC’s American Idol. Born and raised in a Catholic household, Gabby
Barrett started singing and performing in gospel choirs at a very young age,
winning her first talent competition at the age of 14. Following a stellar
audition for American Idol in 2018, she quickly became a fan favorite, making it
to the show’s finale with her performance of “Rivers Deep,” her debut single.
