Born on 8 November 1994 in Rossville, Georgia, Lauren Alaina is a country-pop
singer who came to prominence after finishing as runner-up in the 2011 series of
American Idol, being pipped to first place by fellow country singer Scotty
McCreery. She followed up her American Idol success with the single "Like My
Mother Does" and released her debut album Wildflower in 2011. In 2013 she
released the single "Barefoot and Buckwild." Her second album was Road Less
