Yoon Sang is a South Korean solo artist, producer, composer, and music professor
who received multiple awards for his self-titled debut album during the early
1990s. He was born "Lee Yoon-sang" on May 11, 1968, in Seoul, South Korea. A
multi-instrumentalist, he began career player as a backup musician, playing bass
for the K-pop singer Kim Wan-sun before signing with Jigu Records as a solo
artist. His first album, Yoon Sang, was released to commercial acclaim in 1990,
featuring a synth-pop sound that earned Sang the title of "Rookie of the Year"
