A fan of pseudonyms, Yohann Malory first made a name for himself as Tyron
Carter. Inspired by American rap, he tried to make a career of it. And he was
not far from succeeding when he was discovered by M Pokora in 2007. His single
"Ne me dis pas" reached number twenty-four in the charts, but the album Mon
Hold-Up did not fare nearly as well. He then stepped back from the stage for a
while, returning as Yohann Malory with funk-flavored pop-rock compositions. In
this new style, he released "Entre toi et moi " in 2011 and "Est-ce que tu
m'aimes encore?" in 2013.
