Yu Yingxia (born on October 23, 1983), better known as Yisa Yu, is a Chinese
Mandopop singer who rose to prominence after participating in the 2009 season of
TV singing competition Super Girl. Hailing from Chengdu, Sichuan, Yingxia
studied English at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China
and started taking part in singing competitions around that time. After getting
her degree, she began singing in bars and auditioned for Super Girl three times
