Equally inspired by guitar-fueled garage rock and vintage power pop, White
Reaper formed in 2012 in Louisville, Kentucky. High school students Tony
Esposito and Nick Wilkerson released two homemade demos and one 7-inch record as
a duo, then expanded the band's lineup with bassist Sam Wilkerson and
keyboardist Ryan Hater. The quartet signed with Polyvinyl Records in 2014 and
released a punky debut album, White Reaper Does It Again, in 2015. Hunter
