Cho Hye-ri, better known to the world by her stage name Wax, is a South Korean
pop singer. She was born on May 31, 1972 in Seoul, South Korea. Her career in
music began in 1998 when she debuted as the lead singer for the rock band DOG.
The group released their debut album DOG-1st (1998), which made a splash on the
South Korean rock scene with the single "Kyung Ah's Day." After the band
disbanded, Wax ventured into her solo career, releasing her first album The
