Anthony Platt, otherwise known as DJ Unk, is an American DJ and rap artist from
Atlanta. Beginning his career in music in 1998 at the age of 17, DJing alongside
DJ Jelly and DJ Montay. After joining their entourage, the Southern Style DJs,
he continuously performed at various events around the country until in 2000
when he was signed to Big Oomp Records. His debut album 'Beat'n Down Yo Block!'
was released in 2006 and sold over 200,000 copies, with lead single 'Walk It
Out' certified platinum.
