Tygers of Pan Tang is a celebrated English heavy metal band. The group formed in
Whitley Bay, England, in 1978. They're recognized as part of the initial new
wave of British heavy metal movement, alongside other notable bands such as Iron
Maiden, Judas Priest, and Mötorhead. The original line-up comprised guitarist
Robb Weir, bassist Richard "Rocky" Laws, vocalist Jess Cox, and drummer Brian
Dick. After several successful singles, the band released their debut album,
