Hollywood film star Jared Leto teamed up with his brother, drummer Shannon Leto,
to form the alt-rock band Thirty Seconds to Mars in Los Angeles, California.
Launched in 1998, the band released its self-titled debut album in 2002,
followed by the theatrical and ambitious A Beautiful Lie in 2005. A Beautiful
Lie reached number 36 in the US, where the record went platinum thanks to
