The Limiñanas
(The Liminanas)
Hailing from Cabestany, not far from Perpignan (Pyrénées-Orientales), Marie and
Lionel "Limiñana", who met in high school, saw their career take off late.
Already well known on the local garage rock scene, where Lionel Limiñana played
guitar in various bands for two decades, the duo had to wait until 2009 for a
stroke of luck to dream bigger. While most of his musical acolytes were on tour,
he composed two tracks for his brother to listen to, and took the name The
Limiñanas. He then posted them on the MySpace community site and found himself
approached two days later by a Chicago...
