The High Kings
Combining talents in 2008, the High Kings are an Irish supergroup comprised of
ex-Clancy Brothers member Finbarr Clancy (born in Carrick-an-Suir, County
Tipperary), ex-Bohinta member Martin Furey (born in Dunmore East, County
Waterford) ex-Riverdance cast member Brian Dunphy (born in Dublin), and Darren
Holden (born in County Kilkenny). The group introduced their traditional
folk-preserving sound on their debut self-titled LP of 2008, which was certified
platinum and went to number seven on the Irish Albums Chart, immediately marking
