The BossHoss are a seven-piece German band known for their country-stylised
versions of pop hits including Britney Spears' 'Toxic' and Beck's 'Loser'.
Formed in Berlin in 2004, the band took their name from a song by the legendary
American garage rock band The Sonics. Founding members Alec 'Boss Burns' Völkel,
Sascha 'Hoss Power' Vollmer and Michael Frick began the group as a party band
playing private events and small clubs in Berlin. Their distinctive stage show
includes 10-gallon hats, whisky bottles and leather tank tops.
