Debuting in 2016, SYML is the solo project founded by singer, songwriter and
musician Brian Fennell (born January 16, 1983 in Issaquah, Washington) Fennell
was previously one of the main forces behind the Seattle-based band Barcelona.
At a young age, he studied piano and eventually wrote his first song at the age
of 18. In 2003, Fennell began working on a solo project called Safety Songs. He
gathered a group of musician friends together to back him on tour, and that
