An East Londoner through and through, Suzanna Rose McDermott (born in 1998),
also known as Suzi Wu, first rose to prominence thanks to her seamless
amalgamation of lo-fi bedroom pop aesthetic and hip-hop bravado. She made her
official debut with EP Teenage Witch (2017), whose DIY charm helped her secure a
deal with legendary American label Def Jam. Shortly after, McDermott relocated
