Born in Geneva, Switzerland in November, 1971, Stephan MacLeod is a classical
bass-baritone singer and conductor. He is also the founder and artistic director
of Gli Angeli Genève, a special ensemble that focuses on repertoires from the
17th to 19th century and plays on period instruments. MacLeod conducts between
40 and 50 performances per year while also maintaining his singing career.
Initially, MacLeod spent 10 years at the Concervatoire de Musique de Geneve
