Star Académie
A Canadian reality TV series first produced by Productions J (between 2003 and
2012) and then by Productions Déferlantes (from 2021), Star Académie is an
adaptation of the French-language Star Academy, dedicated to discovering new
musical talent. The first five seasons were broadcast by TVA, Canada's private
French-language television network, in the winters of 2003, 2004, 2005, 2009 and
2012. For the last two editions, auditions are now held live, as part of the
