Sinkane
A multi-instrumentalist (guitar, keyboard, bass, drums), Sinkane was born in
Sudan and came to the United States as a child. In 2008, he released his first
EP and toured as a drummer with Of Montreal and Caribou. In 2009, he released
the album Sinkane, followed in 2012 by Mars, which was critically acclaimed for
its funk, free jazz, African music and krautrock influences. Mean Love ,
released in 2014, continues this stylistic tangle.
