Considered one of Egypt's biggest pop divas, Sherine Sayed Mohamed Abdel-Wahab (October 8, 1980), or simply Sherine, is an Egyptian singer, actress, and TV personality. Born and raised in Cairo, Sherine was just a young child when she started singing. At the age of 9, her school’s music teacher urged her mother to take her to the Cairo Opera House, where she auditioned in front of legendary conductor Selim Sehab.
