The daughter of Algerian émigrés, Schérazade grew up in the south of France,
immersed in the culture of film and music. Her preference is for films and
chanson d'auteurs, notably Serge Gainsbourg, Lee Hazlewood and Kate Bush for
their baroque pop arrangements. With Connan Mockasin's guitarist Rory McCarthy,
who helps her arrange her songs, she signs a handful of tracks for an album
produced by Mocky and Renaud Létang. Pending the release of her debut album,
Schérazade unveiled at the end of 2015 her cover of the cult and subversive song
"L'Amour à plusieurs", sung by Ann Sorel in...
