Santiano
Santiano is a German band from the northern state of Schleswig-Holstein. Formed
in 2011 by Flensburg producer and label owner Hartmut Krech, the group's lineup
consists of multi-instrumentalists Hans-Timm "Timsen" Hinrichsen, Axel Stosberg,
Björn Both, Andreas Fahnert, and Peter David "Pete" Sage. They are known for
putting their own spin on traditional German folk, which they fuse with rock,
schlager, sea shanties, and Celtic music. Ever since their debut on the album
