Born in Caracas, Venezuela in 1993, Samuel Mariño is a male soprano whose
repertoire draws inspiration from the Baroque era. He is known both for his
unique voice and his gender-bending image. When his voice didn’t change during
puberty, his doctor suggested that he pursue singing as a career. He began
studying singing and piano at the National Conservatory in Caracas, while also
