US pop singer-songwriter Samantha Cole (born in Southampton, New York on October
19, 1978) made a name for herself on MTV's dance music show The Grind in the
1990s. Her star-studded self-titled debut album, which emerged in 1997, featured
a dazzling array of hotshot producers, including Nile Rodgers and Diane Warren.
