David Ryan Adams, known by his stage name Ryan Adams, was born on November 5,
1974 in Jacksonville, USA. He left school at the age of 16 to devote himself to
music. He first made a name for himself in the band Whiskeytown, with whom he
recorded three albums in five years, before embarking on a solo career in 2000.
