Born in Rock Hill, South Carolina, Rudy Currence made his debut under the name
Rudy in the late 1990s, with the minor hit "Do It Like Us" (1999), followed by
"Believe Me", included on the soundtrack to the# 2000 film Bourne Identity. A
contemporary R&B singer tinged with rap, he continued under his full name,
releasing the album More Than You'll Ever Know in 2003 and placing another track
