Brandon Roy Wronski (May 22, 1988) is an American singer-songwriter who performs
under the names Roy English and Jagwar Twin. Born in Los Angeles, California, he
founded the indie-rock bands Dead Letter Diaries and Eye Alaska before embarking
on a solo career in the early 2010s. Mentored by musician Jeff Bhasker, Roy
English honed in on his production and songwriting skills, landing credits on
Lana del Rey’s 2014 single “I Can Fly” and Alesso’s UK Top 5 single “Cool” in
2015. That year, he also made his recording debut with the single “Julianne.”
