Rost has established himself as the voice of France from below, of the
underprivileged running after a minute of happiness, a minute without bills to
pay, a minute without anxious tomorrows. Rost is Togolese and grew up in France.
After a difficult youth, he decided to react positively to the 2005 riots. Rost
became heavily involved in citizen movements and associations. La Voix du Peuple
(2004), J'accuse (2006) and Poésie d'Un Résistant (2010) perfectly symbolize
Rost's struggle.
