Roseaux is a trio of French musicians joined by American soulman Aloe Blacc.
Long before Blacc's worldwide success, Emile Omar, a programmer at Radio Nova,
spotted him and invited him to join the group. Comprising Clément Petit and Alex
Finkin, the quartet recorded an album of covers from the underground black music
repertoire in 2007. Roseaux was belatedly released in November 2012, after the
explosion of the Aloe Blacc "phenomenon".
