Ricky Dillard comes from the Chicago house scene, and has turned to gospel
music, notably with his New Generation Chorale. Born in Chicago on February 25,
1965, he started out in house music in 1987, after singing in church and choir.
Established as a DJ, he collaborated with Farley "Jackmaster" Funk and Larry
Heard, who produced his debut album Let the Music Use You (1989). Shortly
before, in 1988, he formed Ricky Dillard's New Generation Chorale and recorded
