Singer-songwriter and producer Richard Swift was born into a family of Quaker
musicians and began his early life performing in churches. At the age of 24 he
moved to California to pursue a solo career where he met Frank Letz, a highly
respected drummer and producer with whom he recorded his first solo album
'Walking Without Effort'. He eventually signed to Secretly Canadian, an
independent record company who Swift worked with throughout his short career.
