An unfortunate name, the inevitability of having arrived on the media scene at
an inopportune moment, the weight of comparisons with their elders, resulting in
weariness on the part of its members? Whatever the potential causes, they have
taken their toll on the promising career of Remy Zero, an American alternative
pop-rock band. The quintet has released three albums, Remy Zero in 1996, Villa
Elaine in 1998 and The Golden Hum in 2001, and spawned a hit single, "Save Me",
which illustrated the credits of the Smallville TV series.
