Formed in Fresno, California (USA), in 1969 by Pat and Lolly Vega, Tony Bellamy and Pete DePoes, Redbone is a Native American band best known for the hit "Come and Get Your Love" (1974). Encouraged by Jimi Hendrix, he reunited the two brothers who had played in the film It's a Bikini World (1965). After a first single , "Maggie", taken from the first double album Redbone (1970), followed by Potlatch the same year, the title track "Witch Queen of New Orleans" enjoyed some disco success.
