Best known for his multiple contributions to the Kannada film industry, Indian
film music composer, sound designer, and lyricist Ravi Basrur was born on
January 1, 1984, in the coastal town of Kundapura. He grew up in extreme poverty
and worked as a sculptor in Bangalore before moving to Mumbai to pursue a career
