Since its beginnings in Newcastle (UK), the Raven band, led by brothers John
Gallagher and Mark Gallagher, has been devoted to the New Wave Of British Heavy
Metal, a style whose birth it accompanied in the mid-1970s and whose spirit it
perpetuates today. Their power trio formula, adopted in 1987, far from limiting
them to this demanding style characterized by its technicality and decibel
overload, has enabled them to develop an athletic, powerful and syncopated style
