Raveena
Indian-American R&B dynamo Raveena Aurora, known professionally as Raveena, was
born in Massachusetts on September 30, 1994 and grew up in Queens, New York and
Stamford, Connecticut. She was brought up in a traditional Sikh household and
imbues her contemporary R&B jams with the jazz and soul she became immersed in
while at school, also nodding to her Indian heritage and love of Bollywood in
her self-directed music videos. Working with producer Everett Orr, she released
her debut breakout EP, Shanti, in 2017 and the "Honey" single came the following
year, melting 70s soul flavors...
