Raul Paz has become the most French of Cuban artists. Born in San Luis in 1969,
he grew up to the sound of Cuban music and rock, after studying classical music.
Moving to Paris in 1996, he frequented the local Latin scene and met the head of
the RMM label, who enabled him to record his first album, Cuba Libre (1999).
Signed by Naïve after an international tour, he released Mulata in 2003, winning
over French audiences with his Cuban rhythms mixed with pop and rock influences.
Touring regularly, he captivates audiences with his spontaneity and natural
