Rafet El Roman
Musician, singer, and songwriter Rafet El Roman was born Rafet Yaşdut in
Uzunköprü, Edime, Turkey on August 25, 1968. He spent the first seven years of
his life living in Uzunköprü with his grandmother before moving to Germany to
join the rest of his family. Interested in pursuing a career in entertainment,
he began writing lyrics at the age of 16 before pursuing a career in acting. In
1987, he starred in the fantasy film Defender, which helped him to understand
the art of filmmaking. At the same time, he also explored his musical interests
