R-Wan
By returning to the folklore of French chanson to open up new horizons, the
singer and lyricist of Java has established himself with an original formula:
rap musette. A simplistic label, judging by the Parisian group's capacity for
experimentation. But R.wan is also the author of two solo albums, Radio Cortex 1
and 2, released in 2006 and 2008 on the Makasound label. This gavroche singer
has proved his mastery of the art of parody, as well as the more difficult art
of moving people with his intelligent and innovative hip-hop phrasing. R-Wan
returns in 2012 with Peau Rouge.
