Playing for Change is a multimedia musical collective started in 2004 by
producers Mark Johnson, Enzo Buono and Whitney Kroenke that involves travelling
to a great many nations in order to record street musicians and professional
entertainers. Major artists such as Keith Richards, U2 and Keb' Mo have been
involved and the resulting videos have been streamed around the world. The
Playing for Change Foundation was established in 2007 and in 2009 a CD/DVD
titled 'Playing for Change: Songs Around the World' reached number ten on
Billboard's Pop Chart.
