Born Denis Koulaté, Ivorian singer and composer Petit Denis, also known as Denko or El Capo, was born on September 23, 1976 in Tabou in the west of the country. Considered one of the pioneers of zouglou, he cut his teeth with the group Gbatanikro, which also included Yodé & Siro.
