Best known for his 1999 single "Love of a Thousands Years," Park Wan-kyu is a
South Korean rock vocalist who kickstarted his career with the band Boohwal
before rebranding himself as a solo artist with his late-'90s debut, Thousand
Years of Love. He was born on December 1, 1973, in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi
Province. While in his mid-20s, he joined the successful band Boohwal and
appeared on the group's 1997 release, Discovery of Fire. The album's most
