Whereas most Christian pop groups muster up thoughts of happy-clappy tambourine
sing-alongs and Kumbaya, P.O.D. share their message through raging metal licks,
rap-rock rhymes and hardcore melodic breakdowns. Formed by born-again Christians
Marcos Curiel (guitar) and Wuv Bernado (drums) in San Diego in 1992, the band
was part of the post-grunge, alternative scene that saw Rage Against the Machine
and Limp Bizkit start to mix hip hop, funk, punk and hard rock influences into a
