Half of the duo Air, Nicolas Godin was born in Paris in 1969 and grew up in
Versailles, where he tried his hand at music with the group Orange, which he
formed with Jean-Benoît Dunckel in the late 1980s. His debut as a composer,
encouraged by the success of the track "Modulor", led him to abandon his
architecture studies to devote his time to music. He reunited with his former
accomplice to form Air, who became one of the ambassadors of the "French Touch"
with their album Moon Safari (1998). In parallel with Air's successes, Nicolas
