Miss Montreal
Miss Montreal is a band formed by Dutch singer/songwriter Roos-Ann Hans (AKA
Sanne Hans) in 2008 in the Netherlands. Initially, Hans was a member of a trio
by the name of Ysis, but they disbanded in 2008. She then sang commercial
advertisements and provided backing vocals for various Dutch artists before
forming her next band, Miss Montreal. Even though the moniker Miss Montreal was
originally the name of the band, Hans is the focal point and fans refer to her
Miss Montreal. The first decade of Miss Montreal’s existence, Hans sang in
English but slowly reverted to singing in Dutc...
