Welsh guitarist and singer Michael Jones has been making music in France since
the 1970s. His meeting with Jean-Jacques Goldman led to a long collaboration, of
which the Fredericks Goldman Jones trio remains the most famous joint project.
His solo albums, A Consommer Sans Modération (1997) and Prises et Reprises
(2004), are heavily tinged with blues, which he blends with his roots on his
latest recording, Celtic Blues (2009).
