Chicago Blues
Born on an uncertain date (June 3, 1896 or 1897), Memphis Minnie was the founder of Chigaco Blues, paving the way for the genre's greatest personalities: Muddy Waters, Bo Diddley, Little Walter and Jimmy Rogers. Memphis Minnie was one of the greatest blues guitarists and a pioneer of the genre. She wrote the classics "Bumble Bee" and "Moaning the Blues".
