Spanish singer Melodía Ruiz Gutiérrez (October 12, 1990), professionally known
as Melody, rose to fame as a child prodigy with the 2001 summer hit "El Baile
del Gorila." Born in the city of Dos Hermanas in Seville, she learned to sing
and dance before she could even talk. She was discovered after her father, a
musician who played in a local rumba-pop band, sent a demo to flamenco producer
