Best known as a Grammy Award-winning grunge and hard rock guitarist, Mark
Tremonti – born April 18, 1974, in Detroit, Michigan – has proven himself to be
a musician and vocalist who is not afraid to take chances in his music career.
He first came to prominence when he formed post-grunge band Creed in 1994 with
vocalist Scott Stapp, bassist Brian Marshall, and drummer Scott Phillips. Two of
Creed’s four albums – Human Clay (1999) and Weathered (2001) – went to Number 1
