Born on July 21, 1969 in Hauterive (Canada), Mara Tremblay is a Quebec rock
singer. She was a member of the bands Les Maringouins, Lard Bédaine, Les Colocs
and Les Frères à Ch'val, before embarking on a solo career in 1999. That same
year, she released her first album, Le Chihuahua . In October, she won three
Félix awards at the ADISQ gala in the categories Album of the Year - Alternative
Rock, Cover of the Year and Music Video Producer of the Year. She also won the
Félix-Leclerc song award from the Fondation Félix-Leclerc. In 2001, she released
