Mame Khan is an Indian playback singer and folk musician known for his
contributions to the Hindi film industry. The son of folk singer Ustad Rana
Khan, he was born in Satto, a small village near Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, and was
exposed to Manganiyar folk music from a very young age. His formal musical
education began at age 14 when he was granted a six-year scholarship by the
